About the role

Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of both traditional ML and Generative AI solutions (e.g., fine‑tuning LLMs, RAG pipelines)
- Translate business requirements into data‑driven and GenAI‑driven use cases; scope features, estimates, and timelines
- Mentor, review and coach junior/mid‑level engineers on best practices in ML, MLOps and GenAI
- Proficient in Azure Databricks: Spark jobs, Delta Lake, MLflow for tracking both ML and GenAI experiments
- Strong background in building ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, orchestration (Azure Data Factory, Databricks Jobs)
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s in computer science/Engineering/Ph.D in Data Science, or a related field
- Min of 6-10 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, including at least 2 years of hands‑on Generative AI project delivery
- Track record of production deployments using Python, Azure ML, Databricks, and GenAI frameworks
- Hands‑on data engineering experience—designing and operating robust pipelines for both structured data and unstructured (text, embeddings)
- Preferred: Certifications in Azure AI/ML, Databricks, or Generative AI specialties
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
