About the role
- Experienced Procurement Specialist on a contract role managing supplier onboarding processes. Collaborating with teams to define agreements and ensure compliance in the growing renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring all due-diligence, compliance, and commercial requirements are met.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalise Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure clear performance expectations and measurable outcomes.
- Support creation and execution of contracts, including commercial terms, pricing models, KPIs, and risk-mitigation frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, technical, operations, sustainability) to ensure suppliers meet business, regulatory, and ESG standards.
- Drive effective commercial negotiations that achieve best value and align with organisational objectives.
- Maintain procurement records, templates, and reporting to support governance and audit requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes related to services, IT, and automotive supply chains.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally within services, IT, automotive, or EV-related environments
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex agreements
- Experience drafting and managing SLAs and supplier performance frameworks
- Ability to interpret technical and service-based requirements and translate them into robust commercial documents
- Strong understanding of supplier onboarding, risk management, and compliance expectations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently at pace and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
