About the role
- Process Engineer managing processes of water and wastewater treatment plants for Xylem. Collaborating with operations personnel and customers to ensure effective system operations and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in the startup and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems
- Review control narratives and work with integration teams to ensure equipment is operated as intended
- Provide training to customers in equipment operations and processes
- Organize, review and interpret data from customer's plants for process control and improvement
- Communicate technical and commercial issues
- 40% travel to customer sites
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering
- Water and wastewater experience is a plus
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain clearance to drive a company vehicle
- Experience in installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment equipment is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter, capable of working independently
