About the role

• Quality Assurance intern contributing to engineering projects at Worldsensing, focusing on testing and validation of IoT Gateway devices in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects involving the testing and quality assurance of Gateway devices.
• Support engineers in validating and testing hardware and software, while developing skills in an innovative environment.
• Participate in the validation, testing, and quality assurance of Gateway devices designed for the capture and processing of data from geotechnical sensors.
• Be involved in developing testing procedures and tools to ensure the correct functionality and reliability of Gateway devices.
• Collaborate in quality assurances activities.
• Implement manual and automated testing for software and hardware.
• Work in a team to enhance system stability.
• Work directly with engineers, product owners, and other team members to implement complex end-to-end systems.
• Maintain a rigorous commitment to quality engineering, testing, documentation, and support.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics or electronics).
• Knowledge of python development.
• Knowledge of Electronics.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of low-power design principles is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a technological environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
