About the role
- Accountant maintaining accounts and preparing financial reports for Worldsensing's Finance Team. Supporting senior accountants and ensuring accurate financial records while working in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts
- Preparing reports
- Supports the Senior Accountant and the Accounting Manager in conducting and validating the accounting records
- Responsible for recording bank statements, controlling cash movements, and keeping bank accounts updated
- Confirming and financing transfers
- Assist with monthly accounts closing: Loans and grants
- Filing documents and administrative procedures
- Keeping databases up-to-date: Accounts, Banks, Forms of collection and payment, assets, clients, and suppliers
- Contact with customers and the sales department
- Handling deferred purchases (Warranties)
- Payment of supplier invoices
- Completing the Bank Position
Requirements
- 3-5 year experience in a similar position
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience in accounts payable (AP)
- Good level of English and Spanish
- Advanced level of Excel
- Experience with Business Central and/or Kissflow is a plus
