Responsibilities
Help lead the effort to foster a mobile-first design culture as we expand Expert AI’s capabilities on iOS and Android
Report to the Associate Director, CX/UX Design
Work under the leadership of the VP, User Experience & Design
Collaborate as part of the UpToDate Expert AI team to redefine how clinical knowledge is accessed and applied at the point of care
Requirements
10 years of experience working as a Lead UX designer – ideally within an agile environment
Hands-on experience building mobile web and native apps
Familiar with principles of Lean Product and Lean UX
Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a liaison among the UX, product, clinical, and technology teams to ensure standards of excellence are met
Ability to work with limited guidance and make decisions independently is a must
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent) in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communication & Multimedia Design/Media Technology, Information Architecture or related field
Experience vibe coding prototypes for quick proof of concepts
Experience working with design systems and familiar with creating UX patterns
Experience adhering to WCAG compliance and standards
Mastered design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with requirements management and complex projects
Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
