- Demand Planner responsible for developing distribution plans for an international electronics company. Collaborating across teams to ensure timely availability of goods in hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain distribution demand plans for multiple warehouses and distribution centers
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of goods
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and adjust plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Use software/tools (SAP / OMP) to create and update distribution plans
- Identify and resolve distribution bottlenecks and optimize transportation costs
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management on inventory and distribution performance
- Analyze forecasted demand, inventory levels, and lead times to determine replenishment needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DRP, MRP, or inventory planning
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles and DRP systems
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, etc.) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with forecasting tools and data analysis
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
