Lead material planning and supply chain localization while managing a small team at Celestica. Oversee inventory management and provide performance reporting to meet KPIs.
Responsibilities
Lead and track localization projects to meet organizational KPIs.
Coordinate with the Sourcing department to plan and follow up on localization material availability.
Generate comprehensive localization and regionalization performance reports.
Conduct quarterly Lead Time (LT) profile reviews to provide strategic Safety Stock recommendations.
Generate and analyze weekly CTB (Clear to Build/Shortage) reports using Kinaxis Rapid Response for all Work Orders and 13-week forecast demands.
Manage PO conversions; review and block problematic Purchase Requisitions (PRs) related to short lead times, End-of-Life (EOL) parts, or revision changes.
Conduct CTB simulations for urgent, non-loaded orders in SAP to assess feasibility.
Execute weekly demand loading reviews with Planners and Program Managers to understand forecast fluctuations.
Coordinate with EC and Program teams to resolve PR blocks and manage Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) implementation for part changes, including depletion date analysis.
Collaborate with the E&O (Excess & Obsolete) team to mitigate excess and drive SMI/JIT optimization processes.
Oversee weekly cycle counts and track incoming urgent consignment materials.
Manage a small team, driving daily tasks and ensuring accountability.
Represent the company in weekly customer meetings to discuss localization and supply status.
Participate in daily GYAT meetings with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
Expedite urgent materials by coordinating closely with Buyers, Logistics, and Warehouse personnel to ensure monthly revenue targets are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Material Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Management.
High proficiency in SAP and Kinaxis (Rapid Response) is essential.
Preferably a Senior Executive or Junior Manager level specializing in Purchasing, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of working independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Malay is preferred to facilitate communication with various stakeholders and customers.
