Responsibilities
- Responsible for reducing costs of externally purchased materials, goods and services.
- Assist category management for assigned categories or subcategories.
- Pull reporting and analyze risks and opportunities to save money.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify new opportunities in the category space.
- Analyze historical spending patterns for assigned categories.
- Focus on retail fuel cards and vendor relationships.
- Develop sourcing strategies based on market analysis.
- Present sourcing strategy recommendations to leadership.
- Manage suppliers and ongoing collaboration to improve the supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business or a technical field, or in lieu of, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Three (3) years experience in a supply chain related position with category spend responsibility of $10M or greater.
- Strong Preference for Intermediate Excel Skills and great communication skills.
