About the role
- Telecommunications Engineer designing and implementing the company's communications systems. Focus on Cisco Voice equipment and support within enterprise-level VoIP architectures.
Responsibilities
- Provides the planning, design, acquisition and implementation of the company’s communications system
- Evaluates company requirements to determine whether an internal or other operating system is more appropriate
- Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons
- Performs traffic study analysis to determine best configuration of systems
- Manages and operates the company's internal data and telecommunications systems
- Plans, designs, and installs Cisco Voice equipment in support of enterprise-level VoIP architectures
- Provides support services for SIP Signaling
- Troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant technical telecommunications experience
- Advanced proficiency in enterprise Cisco voice platform support and design experience
- fluent in multiple versions of Cisco Voice products
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar languages
- AI experience preferred
