About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Enhance and support identity and access management (IAM) systems, including role-based access controls and least privilege models.
- Research emerging technologies and security trends to inform architecture and strategy.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for security tools and platforms.
- Lead internal and external audit support activities related to cybersecurity.
- Resolve audit findings and contribute to compliance documentation and reporting.
- Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and security metrics.
- Author and review security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate security operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve access and configuration issues across cloud environments.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and configuration assessments.
- Participate in incident response exercises and API security initiatives.
- Develop and implement security automation using scripting and programming languages.
- Engineer and transition security solutions to operational teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on Security Engineering.
- Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
- Strong understanding of security best practices and evolving threat landscapes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Deep knowledge of networking, APIs, and enterprise technologies.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
