About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain systems that protect PRC‑Saltillo’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Engineer and maintain technical controls aligned with security policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Collaborate with the IT team to embed security guidance into infrastructure, systems, and solutions.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security applications supporting the Information Security program.
- Perform audits and assessments of security engineering tools (including Mimecast, Portknox, Intune, Entra, Sophos, Graylog, DigiCert, and others) to ensure appropriate configuration and policy enforcement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in security engineering or a related technical role required.
- Strong understanding of network engineering concepts and the ability to configure security controls related to firewalls, VPNs, and other network technologies.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management principles.
- Ability to configure controls within an identity provider (preferably Entra).
- Ability to configure and secure Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize workloads.
- Ability to lead small projects and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver secure solutions.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
