Responsibilities
Define and execute the end-to-end QA and testing strategy, roadmap, and organizational structure for multiple products/features, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
Champion the adoption of best-in-class testing practices, including test automation, performance testing, regression, and security testing.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Directors, and Architecture teams to integrate product quality early into the Software Development Life Cycle.
Oversee the design and maintenance of scalable, resilient, and comprehensive test automation frameworks and tools.
Establish quality gates and standards for release readiness, ensuring robust test plans (full suite regression and sanity testing) and acceptance criteria are met for all major and minor product releases.
Implement effective Defect Management processes and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize production issues.
Drive the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Develop and present clear, actionable quality metrics to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters, ensuring transparency and alignment across cross-functional teams.
Effectively manage resource allocation, utilization, and vendor relationships.
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of QA Managers, Test Leads, and Engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
Drive continuous improvement in team productivity, test coverage, and defect reduction rates.
Define clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, build & lead a high-performing team and drive holistic talent development within the Testing function.
Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration across all cross-functional teams.
Requirements
15+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing multiple teams/products.
Deep, hands-on knowledge and successful track record in establishing and scaling robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium with Java, Playwright, Appium) and tools.
Proven experience working in a growing IT Product company with mobile app dev & test environment.
Expert knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Strong understanding of current technologies such as cloud platforms (Azure), microservices architecture, and API testing.
Experience with Performance and Load Testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiarity with Security Testing concepts and tools.
Experience in a highly regulated industry (Healthcare) where quality standards are extremely stringent is an added advantage.
Proven leadership and project management skills.

Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level or a relevant project management certification.
