About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance APIs for banks, brokers, and crypto platforms.
- Investigate, interpret, and reverse-engineer banking and brokerage APIs.
- Provide technical and financial guidance and support to other team members.
- Work in a small team and take product assignments through to completion.
- Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
- Conduct peer code reviews and take part in retrospectives to drive team improvement.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers to maintain high code quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong background in finance or wealth management
- Development experience with Ruby on Rails
- Development experience with Java and preferably Spring Boot
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Extensive unit and integration testing skills
- English is mandatory; German proficiency sufficient to interpret bank accounting statements
