About the role
- Financial Controller managing activities for Regulated Fund Solutions in Ireland. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance in Dublin office environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all financial-related activities of the organization for their allocated product (Regulated Fund Solutions) and entities within their allocated Country (Ireland).
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain financial integrity, develop internal controls, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive monthly reporting through the preparation of management accounts resulting in the delivery of quality financial information in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Group Finance to assist in developing and implementing Waystone Finance Policy & Procedure.
- Work with Waystone Internal Audit function to complete internal audits in a timely manner and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, management accounting and compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards is required.
- Experience in Asset Management Industry required, as well as exposure to regulated fund products, preferably management company and distribution.
- Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sage Intacct experience is preferable but not necessary.
- Proven accounts system knowledge and multi-IT system exposure is essential including advanced Salesforce/Intacct, Excel skills and PowerPoint skills.
- Must be highly adaptable, with an exceptionally organized approach, in addition to having impeccable oral and written communication skills across all disciplines.
