About the role

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for testing user stories and bugs in both the frontend and backend
- Work closely with software development to design and create automated integration tests
- Execute manual tests and apply appropriate testing methods using a risk-based approach
- Record test results in structured reports and contribute to maintaining technical documentation
- Support the team in identifying and resolving technical issues and provide user support
- Actively participate in the agile development process following Scrum and SAFe to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform technical testing in environments involving Java, API testing, messaging systems (Kafka), and databases (MongoDB)
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Test Engineer and solid understanding of testing practices in agile teams, testing methodologies, and defect management
- Proficient in API testing with knowledge of Kafka and MongoDB
- Experience in development-oriented testing and close collaboration with developers and business stakeholders
- Basic programming knowledge (preferably Java) for creating automated tests
- Ability to produce clear and precise test reports and bug reports
- Critical and logical thinking to question requirements and identify risk areas
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Open personality with a quick grasp of new concepts
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
