Responsibilities
- Apply strong software development and test automation expertise to design, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality solutions
- Lead quality practices across the development lifecycle, including defining and implementing test strategies
- Build automation frameworks and develop automated and functional tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Drive quality within CI/CD pipelines
- Perform quality inspections and audits
- Coach developers on quality best practices
- Collaborate on test coverage, release velocity, and production health
- Continuously leverage new technologies to improve testing processes and outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automated testing environments
- 4+ years building strong test automation for web-based applications
- 4+ years working in Agile environments (SAFe Agile preferred)
- 2+ years of software development experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, TDD, and BDD principles
- Experience testing enterprise applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
- Expertise with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, Serenity, or Selenium
- Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API automation (Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, JUnit)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Terracore)
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Multi-stack engineering experience across Java/J2EE, Spring, JavaScript/Angular, and web services
- Experience creating mock services for microservice-based architectures
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, XML, VB.NET)
- Experience with source control and test management tools (Atlassian suite, XRay)
