About the role
- Embedded Test Automation Engineer working on product development and automated testing for OMICRON electronics in a hybrid working environment. Responsibilities include Linux-based software development and embedded applications design.
Responsibilities
- Be involved in product development from the very beginning - from design and implementation to maintenance of tests and test infrastructure.
- Implement and improve automated tests and define their requirements.
- Develop Linux-based software for our test systems and contribute your ideas to enhance performance.
- Design and develop embedded applications in C/C++, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and bring relevant professional experience.
- You enjoy programming, have experience in Python or C/C++ and are comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- You describe yourself as structured and detail-oriented and appreciate autonomy in your tasks.
- You are interested in complex technical systems, have a keen eye for detail and like to think “out of the box”.
- You have a very good command of English.
