About the role
- Manager of Advanced Analytics driving seller performance insights for Walmart's eCommerce Marketplace. Collaborate across teams to deliver measurable impact on seller operational risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of multiple analytics initiatives in Marketplace Seller Operational Risk.
- Define analytics strategy for seller operational risk measurement and performance management.
- Own scalable KPI and metric framework to quantify risk outcomes.
- Build and maintain operational performance reporting with automated anomaly detection.
- Develop reusable analytical assets enabling consistent measurement across teams.
- Collaborate with Data Science on predictive operational risk models and early-warning indicators.
- Perform deep forensic analyses on seller abuse vectors and identify leading indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in advanced analytics/data analysis.
- Experience in risk management, trust & safety, fraud/abuse, compliance, or seller/platform integrity.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Strong organizational and program execution skills.
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
- Self-starter with high ownership and accountability.
