- Head of AI driving innovation across Product & Enterprise within Volkswagen AG. Leading AI developers to implement advanced solutions in mobility and automotive products.
Responsibilities
- Managing and inspiring a group of AI developers working across international hubs as well as fostering collaboration with top experts and diverse stakeholders, aligning teams around strategic objectives
- Developing with the team intelligence features and ensuring integration of AI into real-world automotive and mobility products
- Bridging research and implementation by identifying promising AI technologies and ensuring their scalable deployment as well as engaging with internal and external partners to drive AI transformation
- Developing intelligent features in areas such as Autonomous Driving, Smart Cabin Experiences and other next-generation mobility solutions
- Leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, logistics and production processes, unlocking new levels of operational excellence
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science with a strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field
- Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
- A strong track record of leading AI teams and projects, ideally across both product development and enterprise transformation as well as leadership experience in research, pre-development and development projects in the field of AI & Machine Learning
- Experience in applying AI to real-world automotive or mobility products as well as enterprise systems (e.g., supply chain optimization, predictive maintenance, intelligent automation)
- Experience working in international setups, collaborating across geographies and cultures
- Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills in English C1 and German B2 and the ability to inspire and align diverse stakeholders
