Responsibilities
Act as the Software Asset Management (SAM) focal point for a portfolio of software, serving as the reference for licensing, compliance and efficient usage.
Perform analyses of license usage and consumption across the IT environment, identifying underutilization, excess licenses, compliance risks and opportunities for optimization or alternatives.
Manage and operate SAM and license monitoring tools, ensuring data quality, adherence to contracts and providing support to technical teams.
Evaluate software contracts from the perspective of licensing, usage metrics, commercial models and financial risks.
Support and assist with software audits by centralizing requests, consolidating information, performing impact analyses and helping to prepare technical responses.
Propose improvements to license management processes, software governance and compliance controls, working proactively to prevent issues.
Support technical and business areas in decision-making by providing structured analyses, clear diagnostics and practical recommendations.
Prepare materials and executive presentations with consolidated data, concise storytelling and a focus on efficiency, risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with IT, contracts, finance and audit teams to ensure alignment between strategy, operations and compliance.
Requirements
Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), software licensing management or auditing (license audit experience preferred).
Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning, with the ability to structure complex information and generate insights.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, organizing and analyzing large volumes of data).
Experience using SAM or license monitoring tools (desirable).
Ability to handle medium- to high-complexity topics autonomously with a consultative mindset.
Good communication skills for interacting with technical teams and presenting to executive audiences.
Proactive, curious, improvement-oriented profile and comfortable in dynamic (VUCA) environments.
A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology or related fields is a plus.
Advanced English; Spanish considered an advantage.
