- Sr. Analyst in Pricing & Promotions at The Vitamin Shoppe. Responsible for analytics, insights, and recommendations for pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and distribute pricing & promotional dashboards to the organization, while providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Update and maintain pricing and promotion-related databases, models, tools, and repositories
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate the results of pricing & promotional initiatives and tests to key business partners
- Support the design and development of analytics tools and dashboards for use by key business partners to better understand and efficiently process pricing-related information
- Provide insights and analysis to help stakeholders make informed decisions on maximizing promotional dollars and ROI
- Track and report on industry and competitive landscape, identify trends, and provide recommendations on future tactics
- Assist with the operational needs of the team, including execution of price changes and maintenance of reporting
- Work within systems to test, troubleshoot and execute promotional activities across multiple sales channels
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or related analytical roles
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shifting demands and timelines
- Outstanding organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for all tasks and projects
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong technical background using POS, PIM, & ERP systems
