About the role

• System Engineer specialized in Backup managing Commvault infrastructure at Axians ICT Austria. Collaboration with teams for developing and maintaining services. Position based in Austria.

Responsibilities

• You are part of the operations team and responsible for the ongoing maintenance as well as the security and availability of our backup infrastructure (focus on Commvault)
• You enjoy resolving incidents and implementing service requests within the scope of our project guidelines
• You enjoy collaborating with our diverse business units
• You support the development of infrastructure services based on reference architectures for our customers
• You are willing to take on assigned operational duties as well as structured on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• You have completed IT training (apprenticeship, HTL, University of Applied Sciences, university) or possess an equivalent qualification
• You have solid experience administering Windows and Linux servers
• You have several years of professional experience in backup & storage and are familiar with the service-provider environment
• Professional experience in administering and operating Commvault is a strong advantage
• You speak fluent German and English
• You work cooperatively, enjoy taking responsibility, and take initiative
