About the role
- Application Manager in SAP FI/CO for a company in Bern, Switzerland. Focused on Finance & Controlling projects with hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and further development of SAP FI/CO applications with a focus on Controlling (cost center, internal order and project controlling)
- Implementation of customizing adjustments in the FI/CO area
- Taking on project management responsibilities for small to medium implementation or optimization projects
- Supporting business units in the analysis, modeling and optimization of finance and controlling processes
- Ensuring interfaces between FI, CO and adjacent modules (e.g., HCM, SD/MM, BI)
- Participation in change & release management, quality assurance and test coordination
- Optional: Involvement in Treasury & Risk Management (TRM)
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant
- Preferably experience with several of the following CO components: cost center accounting, internal orders, project controlling (CO-PS), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- FI components: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or asset accounting
- Customizing: solid experience in FI/CO customizing, particularly within the CO area
- Project management (PM): experience executing and leading small to medium-sized projects
- Basic ABAP understanding (reading, specification writing, debugging support) is an advantage
- Focus on CO, complemented by solid knowledge of FI
- Knowledge of Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) is advantageous
- Analytical skills and enthusiasm for process design in Finance & Controlling
- Strong communication and prioritization skills; confident handling of competing demands
