About the role
- Application Manager SAP FI/CO focusing on controlling processes and project management in a modern S/4 environment. Collaborating with a motivated team to enhance financial and controlling processes.
Responsibilities
- Support and further development of SAP FI/CO applications with a focus on Controlling (cost center, internal order and project controlling)
- Perform customizing adjustments in the FI/CO area
- Take on project management tasks for small to medium implementation or optimization projects
- Support business units in the analysis, modeling and optimization of finance and controlling processes
- Ensure interfaces between FI, CO and adjacent modules (e.g., HCM, SD/MM, BI)
- Participate in change & release management, quality assurance and test coordination
- Optional: Involvement in Treasury & Risk Management (TRM)
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant
- Desirable: experience with several of the following CO components: cost center accounting, internal orders, project controlling (CO-PS), profitability analysis (CO-PA)
- FI components: including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or asset accounting
- Solid experience in FI/CO customizing, particularly in the CO area
- Experience in executing and leading small to medium projects
- Basic ABAP understanding (reading code, specifications, debugging support) is an advantage
- Focus on CO, complemented by strong FI knowledge
- Knowledge of Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) is an advantage
- Analytical skills and enjoyment in designing finance & controlling processes
- Strong communication and prioritization skills; ability to act confidently when facing competing demands
