About the role
- Prozess- und Projektmanager (m/w/d) für SAP Außenhandel und Versand mit Verantwortung für Geschäftsprozessverbesserungen und Systemoptimierung. Arbeiten Sie in einem dynamischen internationalen Umfeld.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement and continuously improve business processes in the areas of foreign trade, shipping and transport and their mapping in the ERP system
- Optimize the tools and supporting methods used; develop standards and guidelines in cooperation with the business departments
- Support and further develop the SAP system in the areas of Foreign Trade, Shipping and Transport
- Perform adjustments (customizing and, if necessary, development) in the SAP modules SD, MM and LE
- Client-side customizing in the AEB software in the modules Trade Compliance Management, Customs Management and Monitoring & Alerting
- Ensure stable IT application operations of the supported applications and drive their further development together with internal and external service providers
- Participate in SAP projects; support the business units in project preparation and execution
- Contribute to the assessment, execution and implementation of change requests within projects and SAP ERP application operations
- Contribute to the creation of system and application documentation
- Provide substantive and conceptual advice to the business units on the IT-technical implementation of requirements
Requirements
- University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration/Economics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the tasks listed above and knowledge of the specific requirements of mechanical engineering
- Expert knowledge in implementing efficient processes
- In-depth knowledge of the mentioned SAP modules (including customizing) and familiarity with interfaces to adjacent modules
- Experience with AEB software in the above modules and its customizing is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in SD/LE processes (order processing, delivery, packing, invoicing, export control, customs, Intrastat)
- Understanding of the underlying data model and data sources
- Confident and routine use of common MS Office applications
- Strong analytical, goal-oriented and strategic thinking, and a high degree of self-motivation combined with flexibility when handling complex tasks
- High resilience, willingness to travel, and a strong personal drive to achieve results
- Strong communication skills combined with persistence and result orientation
- Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
