Responsibilities
Provides product, system, sales process, and contract support to internal sales teams and/or external sales partners
Provides product support including terminal, software, value add products
Assists sales staff in identifying the appropriate contract for new merchant relationships
Researches and resolves compensation issues for both internal and external sales staff
Processes third party certification requests as well as validating certified vendors on the platform
Maintains internal websites with current information on card schemes and pricing
Conduct engaging, value-driven product demonstrations for prospective customers across multiple industries
Partner closely with Sales Representatives to support deal strategy, discovery, and closing efforts
Customize demo experiences based on customer needs and business objectives
Provide presales technical expertise during the sales process, including proposal support and solution mapping guidance
Assist in preparation for implementation activities to ensure smooth customer journey
Leverage CRM platforms, sales tools, and collaboration technology to document insights, track progress, and optimize performance
Participate in pre-proposal discussions with seller
Deliver technical presentations and consult on sales strategies for sellers
Support initiatives to improve conversion rates, pipeline performance, and overall sales effectiveness
Maintain deep knowledge of product capabilities, enhancements, and competitive landscape
Engage cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Enablement teams to support strategy and continuous improvement
Promote product awareness internally through training sessions, pilot programs, and education for sales teams
Ensure compliance with company policies, including security and regulatory requirements
Provide onsite support for internal and external sales events showcasing our solutions live in action
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Typically two or more years of related experience
Ability to travel
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
Proven customer service/relations skills
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Some knowledge of the Payments Industry, product and system knowledge helpful
