About the role
- Manager Issue Management overseeing the Issue Management program within Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking. Driving the accountability and governance processes for issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the effective execution of the Issue Management program within Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB).
- Leading a team of Issue Coordinators and partnering closely with business, risk, compliance, audit, and other enterprise stakeholders.
- Ensuring issues are identified, governed, remediated, and closed in accordance with Enterprise Issue Management Policy and associated procedures.
Requirements
- Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business.
- Advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
- Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicable professional certifications.
