About the role
- Backend Developer working on backend functionalities and REST APIs for BLUME2000. Collaborating closely with Product Owners and integrating modern technologies into systems.
Responsibilities
- You develop backend functionality (Python, REST APIs, SQL) and provide occasional frontend support (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- You work closely with our Product Owner, other developers and business units to help shape requirements — not just implement them.
- You have the freedom to experiment with and introduce technologies.
- You work in an environment that actively uses AI and modern ways of working.
- You develop requirements together with the Product Owner & PM and have a clear understanding of users.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred but not mandatory)
- Confident working with REST APIs and SQL
- Understanding of modern software development rather than simply "processing tickets"
- Enjoy direct collaboration with Product Owner, PM and business stakeholders
- Openness to AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, code analysis, AI-assisted pair programming)
- Appetite for pragmatic solutions and refactoring in established/legacy systems
- German language skills: C1
