Responsibilities
Performs a variety of complex functions to resolve involved billing problems and issues.
Handles patient customer service calls and inquiries.
Addresses patient billing questions and concerns.
Manages patient account resolution including filing insurance and processing patient payments.
Researches and provides reports on resolved invoices.
Prepares adjustment and refund request forms.
Ensures strict confidentiality of patient medical and financial records.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
