Responsibilities
As a Claims Specialist in benefits processing, you are an important point of contact for our customers and ensure smooth handling of claims.
You assess our insured persons' entitlement to benefits and make well-founded decisions.
If there are uncertainties, you request the necessary documents, review them carefully, involve experts if required, and professionally manage the clarification process.
You arrange payments to customers or service providers and issue benefit commitments within the limits of your authority.
You communicate with customers and distribution partners in writing and by phone and liaise with doctors, dentists and hospitals, among others.
Requirements
You have completed vocational training as an insurance and financial services clerk and ideally bring solid professional experience in claims services.
You have sound knowledge of private health insurance and an interest in medical matters.
You work customer-centrically, are strong in communication and bring a high degree of initiative and resilience.
You are confident using IT systems and are willing to train intensively in our applications.
