- Director of Physical Revenue driving revenue growth across physical business at Universal Music Group. Managing retail strategies and execution to enhance revenue and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue, margin, and execution across all labels, partners, and retail channels
- Own demand forecasts, manufacturing decisions, and inventory risk
- Oversee end-to-end physical release execution—from manufacturing through retail delivery
- Own inventory levels across all configurations—balancing availability with risk
- Partner with commercial teams and retailers to drive placement, visibility, and sell-through
- Measure reporting across all physical sales and performance metrics
Requirements
- Deep experience in physical music, retail, and supply chain
- Strong operator with proven ownership of forecasting, inventory, and P&Ls
- High commercial instincts with the ability to make clear, decisive calls
- Effective cross-functional leader who drives alignment and accountability
- Experience managing key retail accounts, including Walmart, strongly preferred
