About the role

• Software Systems Engineer developing IT solutions by eliciting requirements and testing solutions at TrueTandem. Supporting production systems and collaborating with developers in the Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

• Eliciting and documenting requirements from the customer.
• Designing the solution and communicating with the customer.
• Developing the solution individually and/or with the aid of 1-2 non-customer facing developers.
• Testing the solution.
• Facilitation user acceptance testing with the customer and triaging / resolving customer reported issues.
• Deploying solution following customer identified processes (CICD or Manual methods).
• Ensuring production systems are performing efficiently and effectively (Production support).

Requirements

• Must be located in the Washington DC area, with ability to travel to Herndon and Lanham, MD for occasional work.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Six years of professional experience
• Technical stack includes:
• Microsoft SQL Server: Design/Create/Maintain Tables, Stored Procedures, Functions, Jobs, general T-SQL skillset.
• User Interface
• C# .NET 4.8 (MVC) based
• Microsoft SQL Server: Design/Create/Maintain Tables, Stored Procedures, Functions, Jobs, general T-SQL skillset.
• Microsoft Excel: Import data into SQL Server Database from an Excel file using C# .NET 4.8.
• XML: Export data using C# .NET 4.8 into XML file.
• Adobe Acrobat: Authoring PDF based forms using iTEXT Sharp Library, C# .NET 4.8, and saving to Microsoft SQL Server Database
• Service
• C# .NET 8 (Core) based
• Web API
• Microsoft SQL Server: Design/Create/Maintain Tables, Stored Procedures, Functions, Jobs, general T-SQL skillset.
• JSON (general JSON design / use from C# .NET 8 and/or SQL Server)
