About the role
- Director of Portfolio Management overseeing and executing renewable energy projects at Treaty Oak. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project management and integration.
Responsibilities
- Support oversight of a large-scale pipeline of renewable energy projects.
- Work closely with Development Project Managers and functional teams to ensure projects advance toward FID.
- Maintain visibility into project critical paths and ensure timely escalation of risks and bottlenecks.
- Lead project-level M&A diligence activities and prepare and maintain diligence schedules.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Project Controls teams.
- Ensure development workstreams are executed with the documentation and rigor required to support diligence processes.
- Support the Quarterly Project Review process and prepare portfolio reporting materials.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience in renewable energy development, project management, portfolio management, or project M&A.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Direct experience supporting project acquisitions, including diligence and integration of development-stage projects.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing detailed project schedules and development budgets.
- Proven track record supporting projects through financing or construction readiness stages.
- Strong understanding of project finance requirements, investment decision criteria, and lender diligence expectations.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex project environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools; experience with enterprise project management systems preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
