About the role
- Backend Architect leading design and development of scalable backend systems for TradingView's platform. Collaborating with teams to integrate systems and ensure performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend architectures
- Evaluate and recommend the most suitable backend technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Analyze, refine, and approve specifications and technical requirements for service development across teams
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration between backend systems, frontend components, and APIs
- Design systems that can handle high traffic loads while ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain high code quality
- Ensure comprehensive technical documentation of internal systems
- Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend development (our stack includes Go, Java, and Python)
- Strong background in object-oriented design, multithreading, SQL/NoSQL databases, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
- Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong engineering mindset
- Proficiency in writing clear and structured technical documentation
- Experience in finance or trading domain is a plus
- Familiarity with TradingView as a product is a plus
