About the role
- Senior Backend Engineer designing and delivering robust systems for Taster's quick service dining technology. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on architecture, code quality, and AI integration.
Responsibilities
- Design architectures, from the Software side (python) to the infrastructure side (GCP)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in technical discussions around tech intelligence, coding best practices
- Own complex features end-to-end, working closely with the Frontend and Product teams
- Collaborate with the HQ teams, that are your clients : Marketing, Operations, Sales, Supply...
- Ensure reliability and performance of our systems
- Integrate GenAI into your day-to-day work
- Keep a strong hands-on coding approach, and know when to challenge LLM-produced code
- Mentor the more junior members of team, and get to know our entire code base and features
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in backend development, in Python
- Experience with a public Cloud Provider
- Knowledge of asynchronous design, SQL, NoSQL systems
- Familiarity with at least one monitoring and observability platform
- Comfortable in coding with LLM-assisted tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
