Responsibilities
- Establish the architectural vision and engineering strategy across products.
- Drive decisions on platform modularization, infrastructure, data, reliability, and integrations.
- Lead and grow an engineering organization capable of executing across multiple product lines in parallel.
- Lead existing product feature development: catalog, search, ordering, payments, vendor integrations, logistics.
- Oversee new product launches: Architecture and development strategy and execution of launching and scaling new products.
- Lead engineers in building regulatory compliant and scalable multi product platform.
- Own engineering excellence: velocity, reliability, architecture, security, and quality.
- Lead team of NYC based engineers and add team capacity expansion initiatives.
- Recruit and coach backend, frontend, and other engineering talent.
- Serve as engineering representative working cross functionally with all other business teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience building and scaling engineering teams in high-growth SaaS.
- 3+ years in leadership and people management with a track record of success coaching and development of team members.
- Demonstrated architectural leadership in complex, integrated environments.
- Strong cross-functional partnership with Product, GTM, and Customers.
