About the role
- Providing day to day support to global clients during the trade lifecycle. Role involves working in Clearing & Custody Settlements team managing multi asset class securities.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional day to day support to our Global Client base during the trade lifecycle.
- Help maintain an inclusive and open environment and be unafraid to challenge the status quo.
- Sit within the Clearing & Custody Settlements team which has responsibility for providing professional support to a diverse and global client base during the post trade lifecycle in multi asset class securities across all business lines.
Requirements
- Experience in high volume, global equity/fixed income settlements function. Ideally from a Custody/Settlements/Clearing Ops background
- Experience in a settlements role, and demonstrable ability to deal with demanding situations calmly and effectively.
- Experience of US markets.
- Comfortable working closely with senior management and stakeholders, with the ability and confidence to challenge the status quo and put forward new ideas.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Identification and escalation of various risk types.
- Identification and escalation of potentially problematic or suspect transactions.
- Managing failing transactions with clients and reporting to TS&C management.
- Ability to work later shift to support US markets as needed.
- Compilation and distribution of MI to help with risk management and tailored client service.
