About the role
- Supply Planning Analyst at Tirolez balancing demand and inventory within the short-term supply chain. Collaborating across functions to ensure product availability and reduce shortages.
Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of the short-term supply plan (0–13 weeks), balancing demand, production and inventory levels with focus on product availability, reducing stockouts and optimizing inventory, acting as a link between Supply Chain, Operations and Demand Planning.
- Manage the supply plan between factories and distribution centers to ensure product availability.
- Lead the S&OE routine, making tactical adjustments to the plan in response to production constraints, demand variations and inventory availability.
- Monitor finished goods inventory (levels, turnover and shelf-life) and propose actions to reduce losses and stockout risks.
- Serve as the central point of contact between Production, Logistics, Demand Planning and Commercial to enable fast short-term decision-making.
- Analyze short-term risks and opportunities and propose contingency plans.
- Provide visibility of supply status to key stakeholders through reports and weekly cadences.
- Track OTIF / Service Level performance, identify drivers and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the IBP/S&OP cycle by translating the monthly plan into tactical execution.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in supply and planning processes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields).
- Previous experience in Supply Planning, S&OE, S&OP/IBP or related areas.
- Experience with perishable products (food, beverage, pharma) is a plus.
- Prior experience in inventory management, data analysis and cross-functional interaction.
- Proficiency in planning tools (ERP/MRP; ideally SAP).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of automation/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
- Understanding of supply chain concepts: MRP, MPS, coverage, shelf-life, production capacity.
- Languages: English desirable.
