About the role
- Short-Term Disability Analyst assisting customers in their recovery after unexpected events. Collaborating with stakeholders while applying business acumen and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and share information related to long-term disability claims
- Deliver outstanding customer service through professional written and verbal communication
- Collect and analyze information, applying critical thinking and mathematical skills to make sound decisions and draw accurate conclusions
- Apply business acumen and technical expertise to make ethical, well-informed decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment, with management guidance as needed

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of quality customer service experience required
- At least 1 year of claims experience required
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Experience reviewing medical records strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with consistent accuracy and quality, while meeting productivity goals
