About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions that improve member experience and business outcomes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and revenue growth
- Apply model lifecycle best practices to ensure consistency, reproducibility, and strong model governance
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with technical and business teams, including Data Engineering, Product Owners, and ML Enablement
- Drive advanced analytics in areas such as Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and predictive modeling
- Communicate data insights creatively and clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Applied/Health/Quant Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or 1+ years for PhD holders)
- Proficiency in machine learning, statistics, and data science fundamentals
- Experience with time-series modeling/forecasting and scalable forecast hierarchies
- Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud and on-prem computing platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Master’s or PhD in a related field preferred
- Prior experience with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR, disease indicators)
- Experience with ML lifecycle management, documentation, and logging
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, ggplot, seaborn, plotly, bokeh, altair, holoviews
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring others.
