About the role
- Product Engineer designing scalable backend services and RESTful APIs at Temenos. Collaborating with teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensuring backend performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Contribute to KTLO (Keep The Lights On) activities by supporting and enhancing backend frameworks and platform modules
- Develop microservices-based backend solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and high-performing
- Integrate backend services with databases, external APIs, and enterprise platforms
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT
- Optimize backend performance through efficient database queries, caching, and asynchronous processing
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and architects to deliver integrated solutions
- Conduct code reviews and enforce backend coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and lower environments as part of KTLO responsibilities
- Maintain technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and development guidelines
