About the role
- QA Analyst ensuring quality and reliability of Warehouse Management System applications at Tecsys. Analyzing business processes, designing test cases, and collaborating with teams for effective deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and process documents to design effective and comprehensive test cases.
- Perform manual testing of core WMS workflows including inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and provide support during UAT cycles.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Validate backend data, configurations, and system behavior using SQL queries.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams for timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain test data, execution evidence, and testing summary reports.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, reusable test assets, and overall product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in software testing, specifically within the WMS domain.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Ability to design and execute manual test cases based on business rules and operational workflows.
- Working knowledge of SQL for backend verification.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or within a cross-functional Agile team.
- Experience working on any WMS application or supply chain execution platform (preferred).
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright (preferred).
- Experience using test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray (preferred).
- Understanding of integration flows between WMS, TMS, and ERP systems (preferred).
