Responsibilities
Manages or oversees operations of several functions or processes within Loan Operations
Develops and manages the team by recruiting, training and coaching
Leads and applies the performance management process
Continuously assesses the quality of team member performance, incoming volumes, productivity, capacity, SLAs and metrics
Establishes policies and procedures to manage the performance of units supervised
Provides leadership in the absence of the department manager
Serves as change agent to identify and implement continuous improvement within teams
Provides recommendations toward strategic vision and tactical goals
Participates or leads multiple projects within department or across divisions
Develops relationships with management of internal and external functions/departments
Influences others to gain support and sponsorship for departmental initiatives
Manages bank conversions as they pertain to managed operational units
Develops effective strategies and tactics to ensure successful completion and implementation of project goals and service level agreements
Develops and maintains an overall operating budget
Requirements
Work experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree
3-5 years related experience required
In-depth knowledge of principles, policies, and practices related to operations
Demonstrated leadership, delegation, coaching, and mentoring skills
Demonstrated ability to resolve operational issues and conflicts
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated problem/conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant banking and regulatory rules and policies
