About the role
- Infrastructure Engineer focusing on data encryption solutions for on-premise, mobile, and cloud environments. Collaborating with teams to design and build secure systems and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design, build, support, and document solutions in encryption and key management
- Collaborate closely with Business and Engineering teams
- Develop solutions for Database (SQL, MongoDB, Oracle), Storage (NAS, SAN), Cloud (Google or Azure)
- Ensure built solutions enhance productivity and add business value
- Act as a key contributor in a complex and critical environment
- Proven track record of successful implementations
- Create high level and technical presentations and communicate to varying audiences
Requirements
- Expertise in Unix/Linux scripting (This is a Must have)
- 5+ Years experience with Databases
- 5+ Years experience in on Storage technologies (SAN, NAS)
- Knowledge of various cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards (Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography, Public Key cryptography, Certificate Authority)
- Detailed understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication mechanisms, and networking protocols including SMTP, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and SNMP as they pertain to security solutions
- Experience in scripting in at least one language (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- 2+ Years experience in Azure and/or Google Cloud
