About the role
- Value Engineering Manager collaborating with sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Ensuring customers unlock full potential of Tanium software solutions while articulating value proposition to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with account teams to identify a value delivery strategy for key accounts.
- Engage with customers to identify, understand, and quantify their unique challenges and potential benefits.
- Define and communicate the Tanium value proposition in alignment with customer objectives.
- Lead business value reviews / business cases, and effectively communicate realized value and potential economic benefits.
- Create and deliver boardroom-quality, executive documents, and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet specific needs.
- Provide guidance on best practices and innovative approaches to maximize value of Tanium solutions.
- Act as subject matter expert on solutions within customers’ businesses, staying informed about industry trends.
- Initiate and contribute to thought leadership projects.
- Provide training and workshops for Tanium colleagues to improve skills in uncovering opportunities.
- Make a positive impact on the future of the value engineering practice at Tanium.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, financial/investment analysis, solution architecture, or related customer-facing role within software industry.
- Individual contributor role.
- Knowledge and experience in value-based selling methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects.
- Ability to quantify value, create and deliver dynamic and impactful presentations to executives.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, global environment.
- Strong problem solving and facilitation skills.
