Responsibilities
Fulfill various preparatory, analytical and administrative requirements associated with the Company’s regulatory compliance obligations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline.
A minimum of 1-5 years of related work experience. Internships and co-op positions may substitute.
Knowledge of regulatory cost of service and rate design principles.
Required to learn Electronic FERC Tariff system.
Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve simple to complex regulatory and compliance-related issues.
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
Must consistently display and utilize well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others and maintain confidentiality when appropriate.
Ability to identify, understand and meet/exceed expectations in an employee/employer relationship.
Ability to perform the required and expected duties with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to work within a team and act as back-up to other employees’ responsibilities within small Regulatory Department.
Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.

Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
