About the role
- SAP Senior IBP Engineer implementing integrated business planning solutions for HARMAN Automotive. Collaborating with stakeholders and agile teams to transform digital supply chain operations internationally.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs.
- Develop test scenarios and support testing to ensure solutions meet functional and quality expectations.
- Serve as an embedded member of a Scrum team, supporting developers and testers throughout each sprint.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring readiness for sprint planning and refinement.
- Validate that delivered features provide measurable business value and align with the overall product vision.
- Support development teams during build, testing, deployment, and hyper care phases.
- Maintain product documentation, workflows, and release notes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of total SAP experience, including 5+ years of hands‑on SAP IBP experience
- Strong experience with SAP IBP modules, particularly Demand, Supply, and Inventory
- Proficiency in integrating SAP IBP with ECC and/or S/4HANA using CPI‑DS, SDI, or CI‑DS
- In‑depth understanding of supply chain planning processes, including forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization
- Ability to configure planning areas, key figures, attributes, time profiles, and master data
- Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP Excel UI and Fiori Launchpad
- Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities
- Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within a technical environment
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs
- Experience working with enterprise applications, data flows, and system behaviour.
