About the role
- SAP FICO Consultant managing treasury operations and financial transactions. Overseeing integration of systems and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flow activities, including cash positioning, liquidity, planning and monitoring of bank accounts and payments
- Oversee the integration of SAP Treasury with other financial systems, ensuring seamless operations between accounting, cash, and treasury functions
- Configure and maintain hedge management, debt management and investment management modules for risk mitigation
- Support the Treasury team in executing financial transactions such as payments, FX hedging, debt instruments, and cash concentration
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation of treasury transactions in compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and treasury accounting principles
- Monitor financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate currency, interest rate and liquidity risks
- Generate reports for cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financial risk analysis and performance metrics
Requirements
- Should have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of in-depth knowledge of the SAP FICO module including FICO Treasury Management role
- A graduate degree in Finance or Commerce from a Reputed university would be preferred
- Strong experience in SAP FI design, configuration, and implementation also having successfully executed at least 1 full life cycle implementations
- Experience in managing the configuration of SAP including some or all of the following FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR,Fixed Asset Accounting
- Expertise in integrations with other modules
- Good understanding of different integration technologies and standards (IDoc, BAPI, BADI, etc.)
- Must be proficient in handling Issues/ troubleshooting / support functions.
- Good knowledge on ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Solution Manager etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ready to work in 24 x 5 support environment.
