Responsibilities
Lead and manage our team of 30 employees (m/f/d) in Financial Accounting from both a technical and organizational perspective
Ensure the smooth execution of all accounting processes
Take overall responsibility for accurate and legally compliant accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Actively participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Deliver reliable and accurate closing results
Perform account reconciliations
Coordinate closely with related departments
Drive the continuous optimization and further development of our accounting structures, workflows and systems
Serve as the primary contact for tax advisors, auditors and authorities
Ensure professional, transparent communication and the timely provision of all relevant documentation
Provide decision-relevant financial information
Support business management issues and strategic company processes
Requirements
Professional experience with an auditing or consulting firm
Experience in the commercial/financial management of companies desirable
Solid knowledge in the relevant commercial/financial subject areas
Advanced MS Office skills
SAP and DATEV knowledge advantageous, along with a strong IT affinity
